1.      The saving knowledge of Jesus Christ

God the creator of the heavens and the earth and all that inhabit the universe including human kind has spoken something very profound in life in Hosea 4:6. God said, his people perish because they lack knowledge. This is a mystery because people may think we suffer, and die in misery because maybe we lack power, influence, privileges or rights. However, it is none of all those, the key into life is knowledge. Having the right knowledge therefore gives humanity the correct faith to be saved. Everyone; scholars and none scholars can attest to the fact that if there is long standing human crisis is the way to salvation such that people have come up with many different religions and even today some new religious movements are invented. The reason is that the human soul longs for salvation. The Holy Bible reveals from the Old Testament that people have been dying in sin because they lacked the knowledge of true salvation. In Genesis 7 during the time of Noah an old man people perished in sin through the great flood because they did not have the knowledge how to escape that flood of judgment. However, Noah and his family were saved because he had the knowledge of salvation which was to build an ark. In Sodom and Gomorrah all the people perished in sin through the burning sulfur that fell from heaven because they did not have the knowledge to be saved from the wrath of God because of their sins. However, Lot was saved because he had the knowledge of salvation which was to escape with angel as seen in Genesis 19. In the wilderness a large number of the Israelites perished in sin through the venomous snake bites as revealed in Numbers 21. However, some of them were saved because they had the saving knowledge which was to simply look at the replica which was a bronze snake Moses made and mounted up on a pole. In Joshua 2 and 6 the citizens of Jericho perished in sin when the Israelites under the leadership of Joshua
